Mages are fine, despite more expensive items, it's easier to get gold. By playing differently, the majority are perfectly fine, some that have potential snowball early like Cass are almost better off. Also, death fire touch is extremely strong in DPS mages like Cass and my favorite,

Dukues1 votesJust feel like if this current meta sticks you are always going to be versing talon,zed,yasuo mid or an adc champ. Its hard to do that as a mage, especially someone like an adc who can just continue to auto attack you while you are on CD.

. I quit playing her in ranked because I just dont feel like doing the yasuo matchup or zed or the other bs. I finally started seeing more mages mid so started playing her again. Now I feel like... meh wtf the point. Especially early game her CDs are so long that you cant just go out in river or in jungle or another lane to help your team without being beyond super cautious. Once you use your q + E theres about 8-10 seconds where you wont be able to do anything.
I mean yes, I believe they will still work, but this patch does seem to be a large slap in the face to them.

I am mainly talking about classic control mages, some hyper carry mages. AP assassins I think got hurt somewhat more. Again, I'm sure Riot will fix it before S6, their not stupid. Note: LB will most likely still one shot people
