Note to Junglers: Early game matters A LOT

I get that you guys need to farm, but if you play a champion like MasterYi Evelynn please at least try to gank a lane within the first three minutes of the game. Lost a few games in a ROW because my jungler decided to play farm simulator in their jungle while the enemy jungler was constantly harassing / camping lanes.

Do you know why they do it? Because they KNOW our jungler won't counter gank or be there for our laners. It's pissing me off greatly, because junglers have one of the most impactful roles in the game (besides the ADCs and shet). I just can't understand it. If you know the enemy jungler and enemy team is pushing up non stop, it's a good sign you should be there to punish them for it.

Or learn how to play the game and not fully rely on your jungler, especially in the first 3 minutes of the game. If you need your jungler to win your lane FOR you that badly then you arent good enough for the rank you are in.

Understand your frustration, though, ganking pre-6 as Evelynn is pretty damn risky, and just plain hard vs someone who's not overextending, since Evelynn is remarkably immobile for an assassin.

Another thing to note, is that vs things like Udyr Shyvana Khazix Trundle Warwick VolibearJax , if they catch me out as Eve while I'm trying to do an early gank, I'm either going to have to burn flash, or die.

So if I'm not aware of the general location of the enemy jungler in such a matchup, I'm not going to take the risk ganking pre-6 unless the enemy is overextended, since one well placed ward can get me killed if the enemy is nearby.

Or you can ward, farm, poke when possible and not all in before the JG finishes 3 camps like has happened so many times. There is a good chance that if you are being pushed back that soon then you already made many mistakes and are on very low health and mana if you have it. Why would any JG invest any time in that lane at all at 3 minutes? It quite possibly would end up in 3 deaths on your team.
