Can he please have the silence back on his Q?
He's an anti mage but doesn't have much anti mage stuff in his kit. Give it back and make it 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds, a little shorter than what it was i think. Would also give incentive to max Q over E.

Lord Boltrix2 votesWhat if they changed it around, and put the slow on his Null Sphere and the silence on his Force Pulse. The Force Pulse is rather conditional by itself, maybe adding further conditionals could make it balanced?
Like maybe making it so that he has to have more charges to use it then, or maybe if Kassadin can't charge it with his own abilities?
Then it does function as anti-mage specifically in that mages are the ones who tend to spam spells around Kassadin anyways.

The only healthy silences I actually think should exist are soraka's and somewhat Garen's.

He will NEVER get his silence back. Silence isn't a mage counter, it's an EVERYONE counter. He'd use it to devastate carries just as much as he would mages. It was basically: I silence you, you do nothing for a few seconds while I wreck your face. An ADC? Burst DPS > sustained DPS.
His old kit worked way better as an assassin kit than as an anti-mage kit (and it was absolutely disgustingly broken.)

Dio ßrando1 votesThe reason they nerfed the silences for people like LeBlanc, Kassadin, and Talon, and not for Soraka, Cho'Gath, or Malzahar, is because Riot doesn't want to put silences on assassins. It makes them much too strong as they can kill literally everyone since they have no counterplay from these mobile champions. But, since Soraka, Cho'Gath, and Malzahar aren't as mobile, they can keep their silences.
