Please do yourself a favor and make the change to Quick cast / Quick cast w Indicators. If you already made the change id love some testimonials if ya noticed a difference.

huh? Is this supposed to be news? Everyone should be using quick cast without indicators except for a few select skills/champions.

I know right? Yet I fear its still pretty commonplace to see. Try asking your lower elo friends lists what they use, most mine had default casting.

Meanwhile I still use smart cast, zzz. I never felt the need to change though.

There are only 3 abilities that I turn off quick cast for. Those are Rumble's ult, Sion's Q, and Galio's W.

I just swap to enable indicators for folks who are extremely skills hot reliant, Gives you the quick Tap a key smart cast or the hold down and line up shots option as well, pretty solid middle ground imo.

Rumble is an exception to any other kind of skill shot though. I don't know if you have played him before, but it is a click and drag ability with a range of about 2 screen radius. Once you click R with quick cast it will start there and then go whichever direction you drag your mouse. With default casting, you can press R and see the exact range as well as cancel it if you don't like what you see. It is also much easier to drag it the correct direction. I would likely call you an idiot if you use quick cast on Rumble's ult.

Viktor's E functions almost exactly the same way but it doesn't matter nearly as much if you miss it or waste it and you can visualize the max range much more easily.

I suppose for vector casting abilitys like Rumble Victor and Taliyah I can see some folks liking the default, I just find that Indicators enabled can be used to provide a start range + give me aiming potential as well as the options to cast rapidly when needed as well.

i never use quickcast for anything except Morgana .

i like to be able to see where im going to throw my spears...

maybe that's why i can actually LAND skill shots, unlike everyone else i see

Enable indicators and problem solved. Cuts out left clicks and enables more rapid combing with out sacrificing the ability to cancel a cast or line up a shot.
