Would you prefer to have a lot of patches? or a lot of permanent modes?

Modes like Nexus Blitz, URF, Ascension, Hexakill, All in one...etc will become permanent, however, League patches and updates will become very rare. Basically, there will only be roughly 3 patches per year with every patch introducing a new champion or even 2 at a time.

The main reasoning behind Riot claiming they cannot make those modes permanent is because it takes too much resources to update every mode and updating modes will cause bugs. Therefore they have to put in a lot of work into it, so, thinking about it, I can only think of 2 chioces:

  1. Just not have the modes but have as a lot of updates.
  2. Have very little updates, but keep all the modes permanent.

To you, which one would you prefer?

I mean you do know that having few patches means that broken champions will be broken for longer right? if there is a bug it will more than likely remain that way. Population will be spread so randomly between modes that inevitably some modes would barely get touched since there is no way that every mode will have an even population all the time (if ever). There is also very little positive things with having multiple modes being permanent, most of the time those modes feel fresh and exciting because you don't get to play them all the time and just every so often. Most of those modes have no real long lasting staying power

I just play summoners rift anyway, I don't really care for other game modes, I just play them for missions if I have to. So I clearly prefer to get more patches. New champions, reworks and other stuff are what keeps this game alive for me.
