the first one is obvious and already included. right now his damage reduction lasts for full 6 seconds at rank 5 disregarding the circumstances. so it would be less reliable in that regard, but more impactful when timed properly.
this mechanic would probably also replace the slow cleanse on his q.
otherwise it depends if he even needs further nerfs, considering how bad he is above diamond 5. the goal here after all is to make this a buff overall.
some tests on the pbe would be required to see how this actually affects him. i remember people losing their shit when he got the armor shred buff, and it turned out to not be as crazy as most people thought.
