Asap varus top lane is actually viable vices mid lane or bot because I've done it like 10 games now and have won every time . his w proc is strong very strong and the fact that I end up freezing my lane next to turret makes it better . nashors tooth beserker graves wits end nomicon hourglass( I get this when I adc and build ad on him ) boom 70% instant hp damage off your combo not even counting the basic attacks

So I scrolled down quite a bit to finally found other Varus games you played. You went AD.
So out of the 20 games you played recently, you played one AP VaRus Top, and lost.

khorney1 votesI never said I won the game only that I won the lane pretty hard. It works not like in mid where every other champ can jump on you . up top there isn't very many who can riven comes to mind and that's it season 3 and season 4
LXII1 votesAD Varus top has been good for a while, but I don't like him ap at all. I only tried it once, and in theory it sounds nice, but it's not that great. I've only played a few Varus top games, but he does really well against most of the champs up there. Definitely wouldn't recommend for ranked though as your team fight will be severely lacking once the enemy team groups and you're bringing nothing but Varus to the table.
khorney1 votesWell people don't understand how it works is why they think it sucks and with his ult having a lower CD it's stronger . but it works like kalista and vayne only stronger burst but less damage . you need 40% CD cause your relying on your q and e to proc . max out w every chance then e cause the aoe procs it easier . then q

Oh no, I know exactly how it works, just takes too much work for the reward when you could just play Kalista, actually do damage with AA's, and not have to hit a skillshot to detonate for the damage.
