I personally perfer stormraider's surge on Veigar because he usually stack so much AP that after the early game landing any abilities can proc stormraider and helps him reposition himself during a fight.

Also I don't think thunderlords decree is that good on Veigar , because it has a very long cd and veigar don't really need the extra dmg with his already tremendous amount of burst.

What do you guys think?

thunderlords helps massively for that lvl 6 burst which is usually when you kill the enemy

you don't need stormraiders tbh

also don't add joke options in the polls like "I hate Teemo," it skews results

I feel thunderlord is way more powerful early-mid game, you're combo after lvl 6 proc it automatically, it's make you a better trader and allow you to snowball and win lane, without it you will have more problem early game.

Stromraider is probably better late game since you don't need the extra damage from thunderlord but you don't really need it, if you can kill someone you probably have stunned or caged him, you probably wont do 35% max life of a front liner and if you can do this damage to a squishy you probably can kill then with your ultimate and run away before the cage is down.

In my practice Stormraider is actually decent early game, Pre6 Q+W can proc it easily and when you have an item or two and some stacks a single Q can proc it. It allows lane trades without taking return dmg because the bonus movement speed helps me get away my opponent laner so they can't return fire on me.

but if you can land a w you have stunned the target and with only one auto you will do a lot of free damage

the thing is, your stun last for 1.5 second at rank 1 and you don't level it up until you max out q right?

w has 1.25 second delay, which means after you landed eqw, your enemy has recovered from the stun and you have 0 ability cd up, they can fight you for free and you can't fight back because all your cds are down.

Stormraider helps you get out of that situation with the movementspeed you can avoid getting hit by the enemy.

TLD might do some extra dmg but in return you will take dmg too becasue you are too close. with how squishy veigar is early game you might lose the trade at the end.

To land your w you have to land the stun, also you w range is shorther then e max range so you need to get close, you stun would be over way before your w end , also merc treads will reduce your stun duration. Veigar combo need his stun, a difficult to land stun and i find way more profitable to have sure free damage then a conditional movement speed bonus. Also i run ms quints, not all champion can close a gap of 525 range while you run away

are you sure? we are talking about mid lane where stupid champions with bs mobility like yasuo and leblanc exist.

if you are against yasuo mid lane he have to dash on to your minion and with his shield you won't do 35% max life early game, he also often buy merc . a good le blanc would never be stunned by a veigar, if you try to stun her and fail she can assassinate you pretty easily.
