Can winrate have a bigger impact in matchmaking.
I mean why are people of high win rates 57%+ matching with people on 50% win rate there is clearly a difference in skill when someone is 7-10% higher win rate than someone else am i right? ofc i am.

Back when I was leveling this smurf (it's banned now cuz I'm toxic rip) I went 8-2 in promos got placed gold 4, then had a 70% winrate all the way up to plat4. Skipped like 4 divisions, and even gold-plat promos. Just hit 100lp gold 1 and was promoted to plat. All of my games were against plat+ players. When your winrate is high, your elo skyrockets and you play with people an entire division above you.
