Any news on when 10 bans is coming to ranked?

I heard it was in LCS, haven't watched any LCS matches because classes, just wondering if Riot has said anything.

Likely later this year, summer at the earliest. As far as I know, Riot won't be implementing a 10 ban system for regular play until the legacy client is retired and everyone is on the updated client. Largely this is so they don't have to develop the tech for legacy, and can just focus everything on making the updated client ready to go.

I know about the legacy part, I was just wondering if Riot said anything like "The same day everyone is forced to use new client, 10 bans"

Nothing they've put out so far has indicated a timeline on 10 bans in regular play--that I can see--so I'm honestly guesstimating closer to pre-season, with a possibility as early as this summer.
