Preseason 6 "Who Will be the Best" Guess
TOP LANE I think by the Preseason 6, they will have nerfed down the Juggernauts, so Top Lane should be back to normal with an actually pretty diverse cast. It's hard to predict who will be the best here, but I think the ones who will "be the best" are going to be those who benefited from the new items (Titanic, Sterak's) the most but aren't considered Juggernauts or top of the line exactly right now. So along the lines of:
Then there will be those who abuse this new mobile Bruiser meta, so...
Note that this is if Poppy isn't reworked before then. Also, Aatrox may stay or go depending on how ADC item changes benefit or nerf him. Dr. Mundo also may or may not stay depending on how defensive/aggressive the lane turns into.
JUNGLE This is the hardest to predict in my opinion since the Jungle can always suddenly go in any direction. If I were to guess, nothing much will change. Devourer might still be good, Tank junglers will be good, Mage junglers will be overall ok except maybe Fiddles, and Warrior junglers are going to be the guys to come in to stop Devourer jungles. So, in that sense, Warrior junglers are probably going to be coming back on the rise soon if Devourer continues to be really good due to their, for the most part, really good at invading play style. In that sense as well, Fiddlesticks might also be good due to him being decent at fighting back against invades. Basically, invaders and counter-invaders are going to be more popular.
MIDDLE LANE AD Casters are coming to Middle Lane. The ADC Item Pass is inevitably going to make it's way to have some influence on Middle Lane, so I believe that AD Casters are going to be good in Middle Lane for a while.
Control/Poke Heavy Mages might come back to attempt to counter these guys so...
A special notice to
to counter a lot of these guys if any of them become over the top. Veigar is going to be the celing of Middle Lane, meaning he won't be the guy that dominates but he will be the one to make sure no one gets too out of control UNLESS they are really mobile and AD, so if Zed or Talon is dominant, Rito help us all.
ADC Probably the biggest shift is going to be ADC. Caster ADCs are going to bump up in viability since Rito is likely to change Essense Reaver, as they have stated, to be a better overall item. I also think some other current ADCs might get nerfed, so caster ADCs/lane bully ADCs and are probably jumping up in viability.
SUPPORT I think Support is going to be the least changed really. Tank Supports are likely to continue to dominate with a few utility ones mixed in here and there.
