“Power budget”

It would be nice if riot would show us some example of this concept they just randomly throw out.

How much of a champions “power budget” Is put into what in their kit.

How much of a champs “power budget” does an aoe knock up take?

How much of it does a slow take?

How much of it does true damage take?

I mean it won’t happen because this concept is just a flat out lie. But would make for something interesting to see how much each thing is valued.

power budget is a great term because it allows for balance comparisons.

power budget is a great term because it allows for balance comparisons.

It doesn’t though. Especially when some champions just have blatantly more than others.

It's a subjective term to help you conceptualize a champion's strengths. You're not going to have hard numbers on anything's power budget. The term just assumes you have enough sense to understand it.

Blitzcranks Q is the skill that takes up a majority of his power budget.

Fiora's vitals take up most of her power budget.

Then you account for how some champions simply have more in their kits and find it’s either bs, or riot wants certain champions strong than others.

Logically they tend to want the "overloaded" champs to be stronger and they want "boring" champs to be weaker in most cases, thanks to pro play. It's funner to watch sylas jump around and heal everything, but most other "healing" champs like mundo orr olaf they try to keep weaker to avoid 'boring' events
