Faie7 votesAbsolutely not. I'm a diamond ADC and I LOVE when my support brings ignite. It adds so much kill pressure and negation of the other ADC's heal. It is obviously situational, and in many situations exhaust is superior. But when my support can afford to take ignite, it is my definite preference of summoner spell to play with.

1011001110001 votesI firmly believe every adc and support should take exhaust. Having more access to damage mitigation, slow, and resistance reduction means a stronger laning phase, and an adc with exhaust has better dueling potential than an adc with heal.

Loco Mot1ves1 votesBetween heal and exhaust on an adc also depends on who you are playing. With Sivir, I'll take heal 95% of the time for the speed boost. That plus your ult can put you on top of someone and close the flash gap between the two of you or get you the hell out of a sticky situation. When you got a spell shield to deny any single CC and MS to dodge the rest of the skill shots, exhaust becomes more of a niche pick.
As far as ignite goes on supports, I don't mind seeing it on offensive mage supports for said kill pressure. There is a completely different play style behind ignite supports because you are looking for burst kills and not drawn out fights where your support is trying to peel for you and give you an advantage in a drawn out fight where you inevitably take more damage in comparison.

Prince Satan1 votesLol silver 3 complaining about ignite bot. I almost always bring ignite when i support, usually on thresh/bard because the early kill pressure is extremely strong. Being an adc who doesn't care about kills but is complaining about how exhaust will get you a double kill? You are contradicting yourself. You are a support main but don't understand the benefits of both spells. If the enemy team has an assassin mid/jg i will most likely take exhaust for late game team fights for example a talon/zed mid or diana/khazix/rengar jungle. It is situational but ignite can be extremely helpful.
