Because I just tanked his full combo after he ulted me with master yi W, where he beraly moved the HP bar to 3/4. And when I Q after he did he full combo (and therefore leave meditae) His fucking ult did the rest of the 3/4 of my HP bar.
I thought he did % of the dmg he dealt, so either that's fucking bullshit, or the base of his ult is enough to finish people off.

Sorry, I meant W. I tanked his full combo (Q+E + either BoTRK or Hydra can't recall) After I left W state the mark went off and so did my HP bar, but I cant say how much dmg it did because I had a GA, so after I died I manage to kill him.
Does it ignore reduced dmg?
EDIT: I guess this is exactly what you mean by "damage before mitigations" but I would like you to confirm this.
Also, if that's true, then that's fucking bullshit, no wonder he melts tanks.

Well, there is nothing to indicate that. His skill description says:
"Zed becomes untargetable for 0.75 seconds and dashes behind the target enemy champion. Upon arrival, he marks them for death and ignores unit collision for 3 seconds, and spawns a shadow at the cast location that lasts for 6 seconds. After 0.5 seconds, Death Mark can be Death Mark 2 reactivated to make Zed swap places with this shadow.
At the end of its duration, Death Mark triggers, dealing physical damage plus a percentage of all physical and magic damage Zed dealt to the target while they were marked."

As you can see, it says dmg DEALT to the champ, so is understandable why none can know this since such information is hidden ;)

But I tanked all his dmg with W, what's left is his AD and ult base. You gonna tell me it takes yi's 3/4 hp? I had about 2.5kish HP, and GA as only Armor ítem, and ofc armor yellow.
