Meddler, about that Karma update you were planning after Pre-Seasons..

I think it's awesome the fanbase finally has something to look forward to, a second chance at revamping her kit and make her gameplay much more interesting.

But I just wanted to remind you that Karma's visual/lore updates are just as important. That's one part of the reason why the fanbase got so fired up about her design since 2016. It's not a part of her identity that is discussed very frequently, but I think it should be taken in to account because it's where her first phase of rework went wrong aside from her glaring issue of kit update.

Before the update happens next year and then community gets the blame for not being vocal about this, this is something that needs to be mentioned so that both parties' expectations are well managed. I doubt the fanbase wants another half assed work on the champion again so this is worthwhile mentioning.

Put in extra effort to correct a mistake once and for all, then your problems with Karma are solved, rather than rushing to release her like the last time it happened under Morello's supervision. Push another champion forward in place of her update, but don't launch her out there like last time only to repeat the same mistakes.

Riot might start Karma's work at the start of the year to time her update with Irelia's VGU for a potential Ionia lore patch.

Her update is probably gonna be something along the lines of Shyvana or Xin's update. Visually she's gonna get new effects on any abilities that change and possibly texture updates on her base skin. Don't expect major visual changes.

Meh. I'm getting depressed with Karma atm. maining her for 3 years, can still do well personally with her, but it seems like teams just don't have synergy with her and the new runes. You can be the best support in the world or the biggest AP mid builder, and it seems like the pressure no longer keeps teams from collapsing. As Support i regularly end up with the most cc, second most damage in the game, with a 6/4/18 score, and still lose, because the teams just don't play well with her. Even if all she does is Ult Barrier (which is counterproductive now with Ultimate Hat proccing instant ult refreshes on Q), teams still find ways to squander it, probably because fed carries are just melting the barriers now.

Can't really use W as well as you used to either, because close up heat is too high to be useful, often even on a tank build. It's still useful for locking down a Yasuo, but even he can just muscle through it with these new runes. Everywhere else.... better to Q or E......

Hopefully this doesn't end up like last time where Karma gets updated and then everyone who mained her shits on Scarizard about it for months

Why rework Karma when you could rework something that's broken. Don't Sejuani her, Riot.
