This community: Perpetual negativity.

I feel like right now I'm one of the only people enjoying the game. I see "I quit" posts all over the forums. Is it perhaps because I'm new? I joined in spring of last year but left for a year and lost my account, but returned two weeks ago. I'm having fun; I just bought Vel'koz last night and he's really fun to play support, and I've been enjoying Zac and Tahm too. Kindred is fun too, but I kind of suck at her.

I have fun on this game even when I'm losing; but I see frustration all over the place. The forums, and ingame as well. Every game someone is complaining or just being a prick to everyone. Why? It's a game, you're supposed to have fun when you play it. If you get so frustrated with games, or this one, you shouldn't play it. I'm getting kind of tired of seeing people everywhere talking about how the game is awful and nobody should play it; this makes you seem like an asshole. If you don't like a game you need to stop playing it, not try to make everyone else hate it too. You can't win every single match. If people are being jerks to you, ignore them instead of starting a flamewar that everyone has to look at all game (unless they mute you). People falsely report on this game all the time too, every match I see people threaten to report just because someone missed a skillshot or was too late to the fight.

So TLDR; I've been seeing tons of negativity surrounding this game everywhere and I feel like I'm the only one enjoying it, who else is?

I'm from season 1. Still enjoy the game. The styles pretty changed this year, not every one will enjoy it... like the game has been every year and every major change in balance. I think a problem is that folks are so in the habit of constantly looking for what's wrong they refuse to find positives in what's right. Currently I'm seeing posts like "Tops to strong" "Tops to weak" "adcs are still op" "Supports shields make ADCS op" "Bitch please TANKS ARE OP" "Guys damage is op! its damage meta!" "Towers just to weak" I personally think OP OP OP BROKEN threads tend to be misleading and creates issues. I wish folks took the time to address things as being problematic and use numbers not knee jerk reactions or exaggerated storys from clear outlier games as if they are the norm.

an example, Shiv Static looks to be a bit to strong on some adcs creating a much earlier power spike for that class and negatively affecting viability of champions who don't use it well and lack build variety for non crit options.

Personally, when I really dislike a meta or I get burnt out I take a break from lol. This is a habit I have from back when I used to play hella dota allstars, halo, ssb, etc. Don't make a game a chore or your gonna suck all the fun out of it. Riot will mix things up, they have done it consistently enough its a reliable pattern to expect. You might not enjoy the next big shift or it might fix the problem ya had. uninstall and quit forever because of something that might change? alright... if you want go for it.

this game used to be fun before LCS became popular... this game had and required strategy, brains and tactics.... this game had decent dev team until weird arse crap was released/done....

in the end the game is stomped down hard from what it used to be, so when someone compares it to what it used to be, this game is in one word TRASH, however its stil addictive and alot of people just want it to improve again.... it just gives alot of stress but its designed that way since riot went indepth to psychology, the downer one gets after losing consecutively will turn into a massive burst of chemicles and pleasure, suddenly after winning, aka riot is making players addicted, some are more susceptable to it than others is all..... riot have been experimenting for years now..... with colors, sentences, win/lose balance ratio kept around 50%, overpowering champs/jungle creeps/towers, nerfing some to death etc

riot is mainly active on reddit though rather than on these forums.
