And I beat a Fiora to do it. So no, you aren't losing because of OP champs and you don't need to pick FOTM champs to win. Pick whatever you want, so long as you can justify it.

As for your question; it really depends on what I need for the lane. Sometimes I rush Sunfire, sometimes Titanic Hydra, and sometimes Rageblade. 18-0-12 masteries with Fervor of battle, standard adc runes. Final build typically looks something like item 3068 item 3078 item 1307 item 3742 item 3065 item 3748 .

You're smurfing. Beating lower skill players is going to be easy for you when you can pick out their mistakes and punish them, we can't quite do the same when we're just as bad.

See, this is the thing. Someone already said you are smurfing and taking advantage of low ELO mistakes, but that never happens with me. When I play low ELO players I never tend to see those mistakes or have an easy time capitalizing on them. Maybe I'm just blind, but it seems so easy in theory but then I go blank in game.

The account I did it on is the same elo as my main: D5. I'm not some Master Tier smurf taking advantage of weaker players; I'm playing at the exact same elo as my main. The only reason I used a smurf is because people tend to rage and troll when I pick stuff like Leona top and I don't feel like risking my main getting banned over something like that.

1-beating weakling players while smurfing hardly qualifies as a arguement for "everything can be meta", would love to see you climb to masters with nothing but leona top. Woulden't happen for you are now back in your real elo

2-Champions can be very OP, but it is indeed a poor excuse to blame why you are loseing, for in the end everyone has to deal with the same problem

I'm a very stable and consistent Rek'Sai top. I reliably win lane and turn that after a few kills into map pressure, using the fact that Rek'Sai is mainly a jungler to counterjungle and gank. I know for the moment at 10 mins in that I'm fed and super scary, so I try to have as much impact as possible before I fall off hard.

You were smurfing, I got to plat multiple times while trolling
The guy had no games as Fiora in rank other than that 1 match and only has a few matches from Season 5, and he has no recent match where he played Fiora even in normals
Your team was doing really well so your pick wouldn't have mattered honestly

So, you were not only against a player below your skill level, they were inexperienced with the champion; their build makes it clear of that as well. It makes sense they would lose regardless of what you picked.
