Immunity is the worst thing ever designed in league, just look at poppy.

Dr Poro5 votesIt's a short duration immunity. Poppy has 8 seconds of immunity, that's a whole different story. People can hold their abilities for 0.75 seconds. It's basically just a spell shield that can block multiple spells and auto attacks. Yes, it's strong, but it allows for counterplay.
