RAMBO Support - Is it Meta?

So I've been playing more ADC since autofill happened. I main support (Leona especially)

The last ten games I've played adc, support's been played passive 3 times, agressive 4 times, and full on rambo 3 times. (playstyle, not picks)

I feel like aggressive/ hyper-aggressive supports are becoming more common.

Consequentially I see a lot of picks like and of the meta picks

Is it a result of auto-fill and so an actual meta-change? Or this is just how League is?

Not a complaint, sometimes it works beautifully! Caveat on 'sometimes' ^_^;

People want to carry so when they get stuck with support they pick something with high damage and try to snowball as a support. 60% of the time I see people like this lose bot lane hard. If the enemy picks an aggressive support all your support has to do is take like Nami or Soraka.

If you're playing Lux support, you're not going full Rambo. Most tend to wait for you to misstep to take advantage of your bad positioning.

That aside, I think the meta was favoring full burst comps for a while with one tank or two half-tanks. I rarely see Sona and mostly have been against a lot of Threshes whom seem to land their hooks all the time. Zyra is another one of those picks I've had the displeasure of going against because it's like dealing with a heimer only this one has a built in Rylai's.

Passive supports are still played but not as often because of the favor of early game domination picks like Vayne LeeSin Lux and Jinx

The best full-rambo I've seen has actually been Sona, she rocked teleport and thunderlords, for the killings~ Never used her heal or warded but we did great.

I have to say I actually wondered for a second if you meant Vayne, Lee Sin and Jinx as supports. XD

Jinx I have zap and traps, I'm a support!
