Malzahar is the Rube Goldberg machine of champions

A champion who has complex gameplay, but has low mechanical intensity is a fucking terrible design philosophy. (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/Ag06yxmK-after-a-hand-full-of-games-on-malzahar)

He's the fucking rube goldberg of champions. And you know what's the worst part of rube goldberg machines? Inconsistency!

When did "easy to play hard to master" stop existing as a philosophy? All the player now has to do is knock over the first domino and hope that YOU RIOT built the machine well enough, to work. There is no player agency in his success, only that of the enemy knowing how to deal with him.

Due to the high skill floor and low skill cap (due to lack of player agency), the kit will only ever exist in one of two states. OP or useless. Because it's all done behind the scenes. Either you will nerf it and player skill will be able to do virtually nothing to compensate for the lack of champion power, or it will be powerful enough that literally anyone can play it and have it work.

Judging by Riot's pattern of reworking/(ruining) an Item/Champ/Mechanic and not reverting the changes. No.

What exactly you answering? I never said anything that could be answered with a "yes/no" unless you're disagreeing with the whole post... If so, then what other champion would you classify has having as little input>output complexity as malzahar, but as much internal complexity?

The assumed question of if Riot will fix the state Malzahar is in

Oh i don't think they'll revert him any time soon, but the current design will not last. The change turned him into one of those problem champions that will need constant revisits.
