Up until now, I havent had much interaction with twitch

I mainly play tanks, and most of the time my team groups, so having twitch pop out of nowhere to kill you doesnt happen a lot. Also he is banned a lot of the time.

But I was playing with a buddy of mine, and instead of playing a tank top laner I played mid so that he could go top. I picked Veigar because I'm not very good at mid, but by simply playing safe, stacking AP, and waiting for mid game teamfights I can do well, since Veigar is the quintessential "get pick, hit button, get kill" champ

Not this game though. The amount of times that the enemy twitch just popped out of nowhere to kill my ass was astounding. Once he had IE+Stattik, I was done. There was no counterplay, even with barrier. I went to clear a minion wave while the other team was posturing to baron, he comes out of stealth and kills me in 2 autos. I didnt even have time to hit zhonyas, or use q. He dealt 2200 damage to me in 0.4 seconds. So now I can understand why people hate twitch so much. There is no Mage or assassin that can deal those numbers in as quick a time. They have cast times and animations, adcs just have auto animations, which happen to be smooth as hell.

On a different note, but at the end of the game he solo'd baron. How can this even be possible??

Just adcs in general and static shiv doing what it was never supposed to.

Vayne does the same thing, except she actually has to be within your screen to do it. On the flip side, she does it multiple times in a row unlike twitch, which just does everything instantly and then deflates like one of those giant duck balloons that was floating around the world a while ago.

Yes Vayne melts you, but you have some warning, especially if she ults. And given that she has shorter range than most ADCs, there is some counterplay to it

Twitch can sit just outside of his auto range and you wont know, and if he ults, then he can attack without warning
