Pretty sure only Nasus and Thresh have the stack capabality. Nasus so you can see how farmed his Q is, and Thresh so you can roughly guess how much his E hurts. Veigar and Sion both get buffs right to their stats, so you can just look at them to see how they're doing.

Technically Veigar and Sion have stack abilities, but yes they just increase their stats.

champions with stack abilities.

Nasus Garen Sion Veigar Thresh Kindred

if im not mistaken, the only ones who dont have a buff indicator for those stacks are sion and veigar. good, that you mention it.

edit.: Bard Cassiopeia Gangplank Chogath added due to popular demand. those also have buff indicators for their stacks.

Garen has a stack ability with an indicator?

his w passive. he gains 0.5 armor and mr for killing a unit. its capped at 30 armor and mr, but he has a buff indicator for it.

edit.: .25 armor/mr on summoners rift. .5 on the howling abyss.

The new bonus Armor/Magic Resist passive from Garen's W is based on stacks per kills(minions, champions and monsters I think).

It has a limit , but it kinda takes some time to get all the stacks.

new/old :)

this was actually the original mechanic when garen was first released. with his first rework they changed it to a 20% resistance bonus. with his recent rework they changed it back.

i definitely prefer the stack mechanic, as it allows him more freedom in his item builds. he isnt tied to building high resist items to make the w passive useful.

i didnt even knew that he had that stacking mechanism before O-o

My Waifu Vanilla1 votes

Yup they changed it like 3 (?) years ago when they have him a VU and a minor game play update.

Enderized1 votes

Well- i've never played him pre his small rework x)

the vu came much later. it was, i think just at the end of season 2 when he got his mini rework that first changed his w passive.

i definitely remember that it was still before cleaver was reworked from a flat armor pen/ad/attack speed item to an ad caster/bruiser item.

I didn't know that xD

Yes , it is a much better mechanic , and with the new items , he can do almost everything he wants (except DFGaren... RIP in Pepperonis).

Pretty cool fact that Riot reevaluated an older idea of his kit :D

If you're gonna count Garen who has a hard cap on his stacking, you might as well count Cassiopeia and Chogath as well.

ok, fine. srry i forgot some champs.

Rengar ?

wait, does he still have that? i thought the bonetooth neclace was removed with one of his reworks.

TaoistMaster1 votes

doesn't he still get "trophys" or something.

I am not sure.. that is why i put the "?"

MetalGearTeemu1 votes

Bonetooth was moved to his trinket slot at some point I think. it still stacks

but i cant find it on the item page anymore. you can check the item button here aswell and seach for the trinkets. theyre still listed, while the neclace isnt. and even viktors hex core is there.

didnt even see this post. you could say the same for thresh, garen, cho etc. technically you could just look at their stats. they still get indicators.

Ralanr3 votes

You can see how much you stacked in the ability description.

Enderized3 votes

i guess he mans the visual buff as ie Nasus has, so enemys can see how much bonus HP he gets from where ^^

Ralanr1 votes

I'm a noob...how can we do that?

My Waifu Vanilla1 votes

When you click Nasus/Kindred/Thresh their stacks are in the top left under their health bar and all that stuff where all the other buffs usually go.

The point, you dense knucklehead, is op would like to know via a buff indicator how much EXTRA he has stacked. Looking at health bar doesn't show that

Since Rito doesn't like Sions W shield i thought we would rework it into a totally new ability called Playfull Zombiebomb

Playfull First Cast: Sion hops onto his axe towards the target location, becoming untargetable for 0.75 seconds, before smashing into the ground below him, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and knocking them up for 0,75 seconds.

Magic Damage: 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 / 270 (+ 25% bonus hp)

Zombiebomb Second Cast: Sion immediately hops off his axe towards the target location, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and knocking them up for 0,75 seconds.

Rather than a stack buff indicator, I would prefer if Riot just buffed him though.
