@Meddler, the coin response on the PBE is poorly thought out

The quest/passive is the one factor that is making coin in such a strong state right now. If you are planning on doing any nerf at all to it's passive then there has to be compensation buffs or even rework to the stats that the item offers.

Right now relic and spellthief have a closer 50/50 split in the power offered from the stats/passive+quest while coin has more of a 20/80 split of it's stats/passive+quest. Rather than removing power from coin, what really needs to be done is that it's power needs to be shifted.

Coin line needs it's gold reduced. The reward would be fine if it didn't also give an extra 600-1k gold over the course of a game.

If coin line offered the same end game gold as the other support items it would be an absolutely shitty item because it's stats just suck compared to the other 2.

I would argue the 1k gold extra gives you better stats/utility than what the others give on top of Talisman/Eye. Earlier item spikes are so much better than the stat difference between the support items.

I came into this thinking this was just another complaint post that needed downvoting, but after reading what you said it's a fair assessment. Coin has always lacked raw stats, which is why before the quests were added and coin got the passive buff it was rarely picked.
