A reminder of why your queue times are so long

You killed off all the supports. You spent years abusing them for literally every damn thing that has ever gone wrong in your life, and you treated them like an infinitely expendable resource. Now they're an endangered species in the game; no one wants to support, which is why you so much as imply you're willing to, BAM! You're the support.

One of the last games I was in, people told me how long they were waiting for a queue, and then almost immediately as soon as we're in the game, the ADC starts blaming the support for everything and belittling them for everything while the support has to perform every possible task WHILE being focused by the entire enemy team for being the ward mule and only person with range and the only person with crowd control, magic damage, and utility. I bet they're wondering right now why they have such extraordinarily long queue times. Next game, the exact same shit happens.

You continue to do it. You continue to treat the supports like shit, belittle them for everything, not do a damn thing if they need help, meanwhile they have to give absolutely everything to you and then some. None of this is Riot's fault. It's yours. You're the one that created this horrific toxic atmosphere where the support treatment is a domestic abuse case. Ironically, they're one of the most vital roles in the entire game, and you shit all over them. I hope you're happy.

Supports blame the ADC and jungle, ADCS blame supports and Jungle. Jungle blames ADCs and feeding supports. It's how that cycle works. I don't see supports being mistreated at all. It's usually ADCs because when you see deaths on a support, so long as assists are present, it's considered almost natural as the role that's ideal to die before anyone else. People don't like supports because it many low ELO people love to carry and see a huge impact they make on the game. They want to be the 13-2 Riven or Zed and wreck people, not the Leona or Janna that has to babysit the ADC and spend the game helping others rather than self doing. It's arguably the most integral role in the game, but its results aren't as up front as the other roles. It really doesn't have much to do with the apparent abuse supports get.

I agreed with part of your post, but the part about "Supports blame the ADC and jungle, ADCS blame supports and Jungle. Jungle blames ADCs and feeding supports. It's how that cycle works. I don't see supports being mistreated at all." was a little off.

First I do see supports getting blamed and talked shit too. It happens to me sometimes when Im support too. Iv been playing basically support only in ranked, have a positive win rate and still have ADCs talk shit to me like Im the problem in lane when I full combo the enemy ADC and they decied to go in after my skill rotation and I dont have anything to peel with... THATS MY FAULT they died there.

When the feed their ass off and then I start dying, everyone blames the entire bot lane, and the ADC says its my fault.

When its the ADCs fault, the support blames them its often legit, cause a crap ADC drags both of you down. Since youre supposed to help them, it dose nothing for you to help them keep being shit. Iv on many occasions politely sugested that maybe I should get the CS form now on and they could buy a pink and cover me. OH HELL NO they wont do that though, they expect to get all the CS with their 0/4/0 ass at 7 minutes.

Iv had junglers show up and sit in the bot lane bush for 4 solid minutes leeching XP form the lane, then FINALLY they gank and give a kill diving the turret, then they come back and do it again.

It isnt cause of some cycle, its cause of morons being shit that the support complains. Supports get blamed cause its not definitive if bad supporting leads to poor environment for the ADC, or bad ADC leads to poor environment for the support. So the ADC can blame without any proof.

Otherwise youre correct, people want to be the big time hero and carry the match. That 13/2 Riven or Zed gets praised, friend request, and honors at the end of the match. The support who goes 2/3/30 gets... jack-shit.

FYI as a support main I have never had a queue time. I press the button and a game instantly appears. I'm not joking.

That being said, it sucks that you can't have support as your second role. If you try mid/support, you will get support. If you try jungle/support, you will get support. Top/support, guess what, you're supporting. Your only chance at another role is adc/support, but even then you're probably supporting.

For some reason, as soon as I play dynamic queue, this changes though. In a hundred games playing solo I've gotten mid maybe three times, while I got it immediately when I queued up as support/mid in a duo queue. I have no idea why.

I know. I get the instaqueues as well. It's very nice compared to the people who have to wait the length of a game to get into a game.

I think the longest queue time I've gotten in ranked is five minutes. Most of the time they take thirty seconds, and that's because it connects right away, but people decline or don't hit accept, and it puts me straight back into accepting the lobby.

But I know why you're really making this thread. Nasus

Shhhh.... It's ok. It'll be our little secret. ;)

Yeah. I stopped playing support. I miss my insta-queues.
