Surprisingly enough, it's not support champions you should be looking at but the adc champions that counter Soraka.

In a duo lane, you got four variables to keep track of. Soraka isn't terribly hard countered by much (except Blitzcrank) because she doesn't interact as much with them. On adc's, however, Soraka can't not let her adc interact, so the lane match-up depends on the enemy adc.
