@Riot So whats the point of having remake only be if they never connect?

... I'm sure there are other posts on this, but that is frustrating to have someone dc before minions hit the lane and then i take a loss but they hold the remake option out in front of me... That deceptive glimmer of false hope..

It's done that way so that you can't have someone bully another player into leaving so they can remake with no penalty. Alternatively, premades could pin the loss on one of their party, having them take the hit to spare everyone else; if it's a smurf taking the loss, there's no real penalty there either, and it would be abused.
