Why does Shyvana have more base health than Darius at level 1 and 18?

She gets free defensive steroids too, Darius has nothing outside his slightly higher base stats but Shyvana has him beat.

Why does Darius do more damage than Shyvana at level 1 and 18? Because different champions do different things.

Because he has nothing defensive in his kit, he is an all in champion whose kit provides the damage but no sustain or defense(outside slightly higher base stats)

He isn't meant to be the pure tank, hes the off-tank. Output's enough damage to warrant focus, but tanky enough to not get insta-gibbed.

Darius has a true damage ult that can almost 1 shot shyvana...

You need to look at all the parts of a kit first.

His ult can't one shot anybody unless they are low enough....

and by the time he gets the stacks ~3 seconds, they are at half hp and killable with ult...
