Abyssal mask has no cdr in its build path

And all of a sudden when you build it you get 10% more magic damage and 10% cdr

item 3010 item 1057 = item 3001

on top of the fact that it is really expensive compared to item 3027

I think he wants it to be cheaper in exchange for less cdr.

no i think it just needs a completely different build path item 3010 builds into wayy too many items on top of the fact that item 3001 feels weak

Catalyst builds into three items:

  • Rod of Ages
  • Hextech GLP-800
  • Abyssal Mask

If you have an issue with that, I'd hate seeing your reaction to Kindlegem or Chain Vest.

Umm no? Catalyst builds into two items neither of which are tank items. Taric etc needed a Cata tank option. Leave my mask alone.

There are a lot of items with more CDR when they are completed than there is in their build path:

  • Black Cleaver
  • Frozen Heart
  • Adaptive Helm
  • Morellonomicon
  • until last patch, Athene

I'm not saying it's a good thing, but you shouldn't make a thread just about Abyssal.

I think you kinda answered your own implicit question; it's expensive because it's loaded with some extra stats like CDR.

Your title isn't incorrect, but I find myself reading your thread and thinking, "yep, looks good to me."

If you have a problem with this, may I ask what it is?
