Why is Thunderlord's OP?
Can someone explain why everyone is so butthurt about Thunderlord's "10 dmg/Level" Decree?

The mastery right above it "precision" is why.
Because real trades happen around once every 15-25 seconds. So think of it more as "your spells do 10-15% more damage for doing nothing out of the ordinary."
Yeah it isn't OP as much as the other masteries around it suck, but precision is so efficient that you have to get it and then Thunderlords is the only REAL option for a lot of champs in that tree.
PFFFFTT OP ITS FUKING BROKEN ON LE FUCKING BLANC AND LEE FUKING SIN CUZ RITO DECIDED TO GIVE HIM 7 FUKIN SPELLS WHEN JUST 1 IS A SKILLSHOT
ferocity tree keystones suck. they are all overnerfed and the % pen is worse than the flat hybrid pen from precision.
Generally, it's just too good compared to the other keystones. It's also a little OP because it offers high base damage burst/poke to essentially every Champion, since it procs on autos and has a 5-second continuation window. Keystones shouldn't be useful for everybody all the time. Also, Precision.
The only reason everyone turned to TLD is because they nerfed the shit out of the other keystones whilst simultaneously buffing TLD.
Instead of nerfing it right off the bat, they need to bring the other keystones up to par.
It's not that Thunderlord's is OP, it's just that the other "useful" masteries are shit compared to Thunderlord's, which makes it seem OP.
It's shit on carries who can't proc 3 hits efficiently, and just as useless on supports because it's going to be more useless than a late game ignite.
People are just sheep and blindly pick it every game.
The cooldown is too low and it scales too hard with AD and the precision mastery. Riot, in all their monkies-at-a-typewriter wisdom, decided that after bugfixing it twice so that it actually worked properly, instead of seeing how useful it was, went and immediately buffed the shit out of it and the mastery that links into it while nerfing it's only competition for it's job (deathfire).
Because, you know, riot is good at their job.
Way more damage than the other keystones deals it in a burst that's really easy to trigger scales to high heaven
