Nearly a week on, what do we think of Ivern?

So far I've played him twice in Normals and all I can say is that he has potential. My biggest issue with him is that you don't get the advantage that you'd think you would. He clears slow. He doesn't clear healthily. The one thing he really has going for him is cheese level 1 buff steals that are completely negated by warding instead of AFKing under tower before minions spawn.

He doesn't scale that well. He doesn't operate well as a Tank, nor does he operate well as a Kite Mage or an Assassin. He has no sustained damage output unless you opt into a Nashor's Tooth build which is cheesy at best. I can see him working well-ish as a Support jungler - but it's not season 2 anymore.

I think he's always going to be a toxic champion with his current kit, and whether he's strong or not is going to depend on whether or not Riot allows him to a viable pick. I fear he's going to get the (Old) Poppy treatment and Riot will prevent him from being viable until he gets slotted for a rework.

I've been testing ad ivern on twisted treeline and it's far more enjoyable than any other playstyle for myself.

I've just been playing him like an Aurelion Sol clone - I mean, he pretty much is. If I could change anything about him it would be moving his W On-Hit Damage to his passive and make the brush Passive an Attack Speed Steroid and maybe increase the on-hit magic damage.

Other than that, I think Ivern is okay-ish.

Telling me what his role is =/= him actually being good at fulfilling his role. Not to mention I was implying that even if he did work well as a Support Jungler he'd be pretty irrelevant in this meta anyway.

when they buff him ill be the first one on the list to play him nonstop, i already think his kit is a little broken with attack speed i can only imagine if they bring up his AP damage. I WILL BRING HAVOC UPON MY ENEMIES!!!

He just seems to fall of a little. Not sure if having attack speed would help much, but it might make kiting a little easier later in the game.

His Ultimate and W are quite buggy at the moment. The AI on Daisy is just awful. I hear they are addressing this, but it's hard to adequately judge him when his two signature abilities are not working right.

Not sure moving the On-hit damage to his passive would be a good way to go. If played correctly he stays pretty healthy and can nearly instaclear camps with smite. Might make him a bit over-bearing in the counterjungling department (though an argument could be made that it would be appropriate). Personally, I think that the damage he deals in brush should be night and day more powerful than when he's out of it. Enemies should be afraid to duel him in brush. As such, the AP scaling either needs buffing or it needs to be %HP. I think %HP is great because it helps with objective control. I think that buffing the current damage is nice because it gives him more tower pressure.

In addition, I think the CD on his bushes needs to change, the charges need to be upped to 4, or the spawned brush needs to last a minute (like every other player spawn unit).
