Don't pick Yuumi if you play soloQ ranked. You need to coordinate things with your team for her to be decent. Play with a friend or go flex ranked with a team of 5. In soloQ you are utterly useless.

Shiroyashayami1 votesI mean, in soloQ you can only count on yourself and your performance, so it is good to take Brand and Zyra, maybe Vel koz even, but not as good to take Yuumi. In duoQ however Yuumi might work pretty well. But you need an adc duo partner. Try to get diamond by playing Yuumi soloQ only. It should be impossible. But might be possible with Twitch jungle, even tho he is 45% winrate. It might be possible on support with Katarina support even. It is just about soloQ potential and Yuumi has a very bad soloQ potential. She is created for duoQ and maybe even for LCS.
Shiroyashayami1 votesThere are such champions. They are called meta supports. Also you can always pick Sona, Blitz, Thresh or Zyra or even Brand. They are carry supports.
Hvsao1 votesYuumi is easily a carry support man. I promise, its just people being bad with her. The champion by itself is fundamentally really strong. I can almost always get ahead with her.

Hvsao1 votesYou don't have to be attached to just the ADC all game. If your lane is falling behind, play like bard and goto other lanes to get assists. You cant be punished when roaming to other lanes because you literally attach to them. You can have a solo mindset, but still be a team player. Yuumi encourages helping everyone, while getting yourself ahead rather safely.

Only if she gets a buff on adaptive ad - ap gain while attached, she would be meta. Otherwise its a niche champion, that is like teemo. People will think that u are trolling if u pick her.
