Still worth playing Ekko?

He is my favorite champion but he has suffered a few indirect and just has better competition such as . The most recent nerf is to Dark Seal. Most Ekko mains go double dark seal because it allows him to survive through his early game by healing a ton through corrupting pot. That's a loss of 10 AP early game, which is a relatively substantial amount. There was also that Morellos nerf. If he isn't getting changed anytime soon, any new champ recommendations?
