Darius loses no melee lane.

Yorick's W is great for locking down Darius in fights. It makes it difficult for Darius to escape or chase down a target, largely negating his threat. While this is useful for laning and splitpushing, this can be devastating in teamfights.

Yorick can trade fairly well against Darius using his Ghouls + E since he doesn't have to enter melee-range. If Darius attempts to trade with Yorick under tower, Yorick can just wall him in and walk away.

However, it should be noted that Yorick's tools for farming from a distance aren't spectacular. If Yorick falls behind and Darius is able to freeze/zone, he is going to have issues until it breaks.
