Why the game is ending less than the 20 min mark.

Ok, you might have noticed that gametime has been decreasing over the past few season. Games have been snowbally, towers falling easily, oneshots...all of that stuff. What if I say that is NOT because of LCS, and NOT because of making ADCs relevant or any of that remotely associated to the "game" itself?

Remember Tencent bought Riot? Ok, you might dismiss me as one of those conspiracy guys but I am adamant that it has something related to this. Tencent knows how to market LoL into the Asian market, and currently now this game is played a lot in Internet cafes. Typically your booking is blocked in 30 mins each and LoL's current gametime makes it very convenient for the industry.

You might have heard tales of mid going afk after not getting 2nd blue buff, or opening mid in 10 mins. This is the sort of meta current Riot is catering to. And it will pretty much remain this way as it appeases the Asian market.

...So is this good? Well maybe in season 9 gametime will be 14 mins at this rate with Kogmaw reaching his powerspike with one item.

You're right. It does sound like a conspiracy theory.

Tencent has owned the majority since as long as I can remember. Like 90% long before the purchase, if I am not mistaken. So nope.

I just had a game end this fast I was bot lane and my 1st death was 16 minute into an 18 minute game. The matches end way to fast.
