I hate playing against Irelia for 1 simple reason.

She forces you to build tanky, no matter what. Her kit is so perfectly designed for killing squishy champions that you absolutely must build tanky in order to survive against her, even if you've been shitting on her up to this point. Killed Irelia twice before 6 as etc? I hope you used some of that gold to buy some health because she can still very easily kill you 1v1 the moment she has a Sheen even if she's 0/2 at that point. You simply aren't allowed to straight snowball against this champ no matter how well you play, assuming the Irelia player has half a brain. Not even lane bullies like can afford to rush damage against her; her base damage from W and burst from Sheen/Triforce simply gives her too much damage to rely on base defenses no matter what champion you are ( excluded) or how hard you're beating her in lane. And that's all supposing you managed to get a lead before she gets her Sheen. Failed to do that? Then nothing will save you. Nothing.
