Why the assassin class is inherently broken

It doesn't matter which assassin it is. Assassins in general are toxic to this game. Most of them jump in and poke you, and then have some sort of safety in their kit (stealth, blink, etc) that lets them escape after poking you without taking (or taking very little) damage. And even if they fail to secure a kill, their base damage and/or scaling is so high that they peel better than other champions (like mages or bruisers). And you can have more than one of these champions on your team. Yes they are squishy, but as I stated earlier they peel so much for their teammates that the squishiness is irrelevant. And they're not really squishy at all, since they all have something that helps them survive in teamfights (Fizz passive lets him take reduced damage from auto attacks, for example). In short, lots of assassins need massive nerfs to make this game more balanced. They are crowding out other picks and are overcentralizing in almost all game modes. The tank meta is a joke. There are a small handful of "tanky champions" (like Sejuani) that are really strong right now, and those champions were made even stronger with the introduction of cinderhulk. But most of the "tanks in this game" are no different than they were before cinderhulk, which is average at best. And, of course, tanks aren't allowed to have damage, so if you ever die to them if's your own fault. You either didn't have enough wards of you had REALLY bad positioning. TLDR, assassins are strong, tanks are not. Tanks offer nothing but CC. They don't peel for their teammates. Assassins peel. After an assassin ganks you, I can almost guarantee you will lose more health than if a tank ganks you.

Assassins peeling...you mean they're occupying so much attention you can only focus them instead of other carries?

But anyways, assassins need all those safety measures in order to stay relevant. Their role is a chance to take someone out, usually at the expense of one's life. It's just the guys who can execute this properly that are as annoying as you say. It's the role of the tanks to ensure that doesn't happen.

I think he means the fact that people move away from a fed zed like Moses parting the red sea. That dmg must be respected.

Yep, that's what I was trying to say. It's pretty much "Oh god I hope he doesn't choose me" rather than "Don't worry Ashe, we got you." Especially in solo queue :3

You are right in some ways. In this game, which is mostly about killing the opponent, assasins will be a huge part of the game. So will adc's because they are the best at taking towers. So, yea i get some of this you are saying and I wish assasins were easier to kill or had to look for more safety before going in for a kill. I think assasins should choose between surviving and not getting a kill and dying and getting the kill.

Um.... (scrub heads), well... you know.... I'm not sure how to put this, but... are you sure you didn't get confused and mixed assassins and tanks together? Because you make very little sense to me.

how does the assassin peels when he is deep in the backline taking out the carries? I mean, i was pretty sure cc was the main source of peeling, preventing bruisers and assassins from getting to your carry while they do high dps to them. And you being out of position is maybe the result of a tank initiating on you and successfuly disrupting your placement? Allowing assassins to catch you out of position and kill you fast for that mistake.

tanks do not have high burst, but a nice durability and sustained decent damage, meaning they can block most of the other teams skillshot and assassins bust and still be there there to have an impact on the fight. Take an ahri, doing her full combo on a Volibear, and watch her get eaten when he shrugs off all her damage, gets full hp back (manner of speaking) with passive and eats her alive. Or a braum, blocking that fizz ult aimed at his carry, and stunning him so he cant get away while she kills him in 1.2 seconds?

If assassin ganks do more damage, maybe its because its not the ganker that needs to be doing damage but the laner if the assassin is killing you in one combo, then maybe you should ask yourself how the fk he got to you. And if you cant answer that, then maybe you should consider buying some defense so he doesnt one shot you. Or so that you get up wyhen he does and kick is full of cooldown ass. I dont know, you figure it out.

Well I mainly wanted to say that you got it all wrong sir

If you don't have burst, you suck. That's all there is to it. If your abilities don't have high base damage or scaling, you're pretty much dead weight.

No, it's important to have sustained damage in team to deal with tanks, and also I've seen teams taking ages to take down baron Nashor at lvl 16 with 4 players because it was their AD carry missing. AD carries are needed to kill objectives, because turrets don't take damage from abilities. Their sustained damage on tanks is also higher than assassins, and that's their job; to demolish enemy frontline.

Assassins then again aren't meant to demolish tanks in general (altough someone like Zed can do this decently due his general build), simply because if they would stick on those tanks so long that they would get them down they would be dead by then since they are melee. They also have a lot of burst but after that their damage is lower than ADC's and, melee. Assassins are meant to demolish ADC's and APC's, and that they do well. Akali ismt going to do a shit to Maokai , but more to Vayne of their team. That's why she dives to her, duels her attempting to kill her, either succeeds and gets out, kills Vayne but she kills her too, Vayne kills her or Akali turns around halfway if she sees Vayne is on too difficult location to get to.

assassins dont even have long cooldowns they have high base damabge high scaleing and low cooldowns epecially now where you bearly build cooldowns now most assassins have 3seconds cool downs on most of their basic skills with 10% cdr from 1 items and max lvl spell
