Primary and Secondary role (Support)

Riot, you should do something about support. There's simply no way to play support as a secondary role because whenever you pick it as a 2nd role you are going to support because no one wants to play it lol hahaha so you are basically forced to play it as your main role.

When I was explaining LoL to my friend and when I told him theres a support role in League he asked me if that's even fun to play? Ofc, when you hear SUPPORT it doesen't seem appealing right? There are Tanks, Assassins, Marksmans, Mages, Fighters and than BAM there's SUPPORT.

Don't geet me wrong, for me, support is fun and I play it often and there are a lot of fun and badass champions fitting the support role like Thresh, Nami, Zyra, Tahm, Braum, Bard but it always seem like support is never doing ENOUGH to get a GZ.

Eg:

Jhin - Ults and kills someone - Omg Jhin what a God damn snipe man GZ!

Thresh - Flays off Leona's Zenith Blade - Literally noone says shit.

I don't have a solution instead of a new support champion that looks cool and is cool overall like Thresh so people will pay attention to the role and yes, one more thing. You could really consider changing the name of a role. Heck if it's PLAYMAKER instead of SUPPORT I guess a lot of people would be like ''I am a playmaker bitchaaaas'' :D

Extremely shortened version of "Congratulations"

Congratulations > Congrats > Grats/Gratz > GZ

Ahh, Thanks.

BTW, whenever a thresh flays someone's long range/fast dash. it wows me, though i only mention it in game if the enemy thresh does it(i like to talk to them more than my team)

Let's just say it's highly annoying to play my Jungle Zac against a competent Thresh. Never lets me land on him.

You Americans don't use GZ? :O Or you just have enough of time to write the whole word "Congratulations"? xD You know....Instead of typing CONGRATULATIONS you could take that Baron :D :D

That's an interesting point. What are the odds of getting support if you place it as your secondary and it is a high demand role? If the odds are higher than getting your primary then what's the point of not making it your primary? :D I'm sure there's some complicated mathy thing in place to make things fair, but it is funny to think about....

Exactly. So as a jungle/support main, when I want to play my prim. role (jungle) I am forced to put Mid, Top or Bot as second. role instead of Support just to make sure I won't get support 6th year in a row. I know it's not easy to make people love Support as much as they love Mid, but there's something that must be done. First of all, a lot of Support champions (popular ones tho) are faceroll and easy to play untill high Platinum/Diamond and why the hell should anyone in that case play Jana who facerolls Tornados and levitates around her ADC shielding him. Ofc, there are faceroll fighters, assassins, mages but at least they do danage and have a kill potentiall whivh is fun while also having some sort of CC which is also fun. Look at Nami, Thresh, Tahm, Leona, perfect examples of what a Support/Playmaker should be and than again, Riot forces Alistar, Btaum, Janna and Morgana.
