It is quite common to see supports finish their full build before everyone else because their builds are really cheap and support items giving more gold than ever. Not to mention the items are probably more powerful than the most expensive of fighter/mage items.

still makes adc much harder to burst.
Escheton3 votesIf you don't feed botlane 10 kills by 12 minutes the support budget is fine. The problem is that botlane is usually such a fiesta that the supports have quite a few assists. The goldvalue of assists is grossly underestimated.
Jbels2 votesSupports do not have too much gold. Finishing their builds first isn't unusual. What is unusual is that each of their items has way too much gold value. They get WAY too much out of what they spend that gold on. As a result, the gold value of ADCs is affected as well, because the support pretty much babysits them the entire time.

I feel like the new support items sorta broke bot lane because of this fact.It removed some utility and the gold the utility costed help balance out the builds of supports over time.
