I seem to have a problem with 
I know the shield is meant to be Thresh's starting item, but for whatever reason, I can't seem to get the executes. I thought I was supposed to be close to the minion to get the melee execute, but clearly I'm doing something terribly wrong.
I wanna start playing Thresh, but if I can't even get this right

Environmentalist2 votesThresh is technically not melee since his range is so long. To execute as Thresh, you need to kill them as if you were last hitting them without the shield. It will still give your ally gold and health, but there's no execution.
