E feels incredibly underwhelming now. It's absolutely inferior to her old E. All her cooldowns feel somewhat long even at 40% CDR. One thing I liked was how short the old Qs CD was at rank 5 with a lot of CDR.
TBH I'm not sure how I feel about the new Irelia after these nerfs. Not only is her new stun far less reliable, but it lasts for less time as well. Her sustain is abysmal in comparison with the old Irelia. She lost 75 true damage on hit plus the life gain. She only seems to do real damage at max passive stacks, and those are only gained by landing abilities. She has no AD scaling on E or R.

So it's working as intended then?
Old Irelia's E was a serious contender for "most poorly designed ability in game". It offered tremendous power when Irelia was ahead, and offered even more power when she was behind. It actively punished people for trading with her, and not in a skill based / out playable way.
Her sustain was intentionally removed: Top laners are not supposed to be immovable objects in lane, especially off of nothing more than creep waves. Like wise 0 input true damage, on tanky divers, is extremely difficult to balance.

shes really pretty straight forward lmao. her q is exactly the same, her w is a damage reduction channel, her e is literally the only remotely complicated thing in her kit and it is a stun
her ult is just a wall that cc's and marks you so she can q to you
if you want to nerf her bc her numbers need rebalancing that makes sense but don't say she's super hard to play XD
to master? yes, thats one thing any champ is hard to master (apart from a few) but her skill floor isn't really that high man

Nerf Irelia? But buff Akali for no random reason? Irelia comes out and 1 day later she gets nerf. I say many of you people don't even have the time to play against or hard counter Irelia. How much ya'll paid/petition to get Irelia nerf? And how much complaints did it take to buff Akali? I don't care if this was a joke or a celebration for Irelia haters, I'm just saying you people can't handle this much bs from this champion until 2-3 patches later for more nerfs. They had to buff her two patches in a row to make her even remotely playable and then buffed her again in 7.2 as compensation for gunblade getting nerfed and her still being extremely weak. She's supposed to be a good hypercarry late game, but wasn't doing all that well so they gave her some small buffs in 7.15 to help her out. All of those buffs were warranted if you paid any attention at all to what the update did to her.
