Is Yi even useful pre 6

The point for early ganks is to cc the enemy for so long that it will drag then down to b5 or to overload their minds with your insane burst damage. Yi does none of that. He pushes q to gapclose and just waits for them to die from his aa's which aren't that strong early. of course once he gets some items, he will win every 1v5. Unless his team lands a nice stun for him, he probably won't get the kill. On Yi, that's a failed gank because of how greedy he is. He will kill siphon from all the potential carries like your ADC, your mid, your fiora, riven, yasuo, and irellia. He needs kills more than ever and if he'swere g, he flames his ass off. I personally was never a good Yi except when tank Yi with sated devour was still a thing and it still scales well with the tie damage but I am a good shyvana who is similar but not nearly as greedy and is more control based and can and will steal camps and take every dragon that spawns. But is Yi even useful pre 6.

you usually don't gank pre 6 unless it is an really easy kill.

just farm. if your team has brain they won't expect ganks unless enemy is hard overextended.

It's pretty much the same as shyvana except shyvana can take ghost or exaust. It kind of helps but it's just not good on Yi.

You should always make an attempt to visit the lane, even if you don't get a kill. It causes pressure for the enemy jungler as well. If there is no lane pressure, for the opposing side, then they are free to power farm and snowball. Even if your lanes are winning, making it appear that you're going to 3 man the tower goes a long way.

I will assume the enemy team is pretty damn bad

He gets tons of kills because just like your bot laner and mid laner he is melee carry. He got damage while your carries don't and doing damage is all what Yi does so what do you expect?

I never flame because someone KS me. But what i am pissed off about is if someone say "I am leaving the a kill for you" and if i failed to get the kill while my teammate is able to my blood will boil and tell them "WTF man you let them escape!"

Yi is not the same as Shyvana. Shivana just go in, does as much damage as she can and takes Yi relies on Alpha Strike at precise moment to dodge shit from his enemies and with "resets" his mastery level is probably higher than shyvana's. I personally don't know what Shyvana does except engage a fight and do as much damage as possible and soak damage

That first part was an exaggeration and I meant if he's feeding he flames. I don't know what happened there. I never said shyvana was easier. I know about alphastrike dodging skillshots but it's not the most reliable thing since it can sometimes still kill you. Anyways both champions farm and hit pretty hard and are as based. Shyvana is just more on hit than raw damage. That's what I meant.
