The active from SoTD doesn't affect Morde's Q. You can build as much attack speed as you want, and Morde's Q will still hit at the same speed

When I was testing Morde on the PBE, one of my builds included Blade of the Ruined King and Trinity Force. That's a decent amount of Attack speed on it's own. His Q's animation and attack timer did not change to reflect that attack speed

Probably intended. All of Morde's strength is in his Q now, making it incredibly easy to get it off on somebody by having attack speed, a stat on one of his new "core" items, would go against his "counterplay"
