So you think the only people who know how to play mid lane are the ones who play dueling champions? Sounds pretty boring.
No. The people who know how to play midlane are the ones who know what to do with the wave in multiple scenarios. Shoving and roaming is only one of those strategies.
I can't stress how many people I know are playing some shit like Malzahar, 3 minions are coming their way, and instead of freezing the wave to punish me for a bad back, they clear the minions and they shove the next wave so that I get all the farm right as I'm coming back.
It's frustrating because they don't actually understand how to punish players and they play back and hope they don't get punished/someone missteps rather than making any good moves themselves.
I want to get punished for a bad move. I want to feel like I should learn not to do that again and grow to better play the game. Watching some idiot play Morg mid to play on a handicap and nullify all aggression is just loathsome.
