Crit ADCs rightfully think they suck balls since crit changes because they lost their BPS

Note: BPS = burst per second

and riot has been on a downhill trend with assassins and burst in general.

First, the rengo revert (really? whether the rework failed or not, there was a valid reason WHY rengar was reworked...), and nocturne has been fucking stupid for the past whatever patches but it looks like he's getting snipped next patch. Kanye I don't mind TOO much because he DOES have a decent amount of counterplay, even blue kanye.

Second, why the fuck hasn't graves received an actual nerf, I know you think -3 AD isn't a complete fucking meme but he's still killing it insanely hard http://www.op.gg/champion/graves/statistics/jungle

Third, electrocute is INSANELY fucking powerful. The notion that you could take a keystone like thunderlords and increase its downtime while increasing its damage and still have it be a healthy keystone is fucking ASININE. Sure it becomes weaker on champions that might have taken it to keep spamming it over and over frequently, but now it's fucking cancerous on champions that don't need to consistently proc it, but that only need one half of a fucking combo to half health a squishy.

Fourth, you have yet to fix duskblade all this time, what a shame.

Fifth, the notion that an assassin has to 100-0 a squishy to be useful is horrendously flawed. But you can't necessarily blame people for thinking this way because SUSTAIN is also fucking insane, more importantly, SUSTAIN OFF OF MINIONS is fucking insane. Assassins feel useless because if they don't 100-0 an ADC, said ADC is simply going to recharge themselves to full hp in 3 seconds off of a minion wave with a bloodthirster (lul). As a general principle, it might be worth looking into REWORKING LIFE STEAL to have reduced efficacy on minions. Once that's out of the way, we can address assassins being able to 100-0 squishies with little counterplay by tempering down their burst just a little bit and having to force them to go in and out maybe twice or so. Assassins already have tools to go in and out, so they should be able to do so more than once, and ADCs will have to continue to give a shit about assassins because they cant just energize bunny themselves on a fucking cannon minion.

Sixth, When a lot of things have been powercreeped to fucking hell, crit has finally become somewhat balanced. This has ADCs rightfully feeling awful because things around them have yet to be addressed. Even worse, Crit had been THE MOST BROKEN thing in the game for quite a long time now, so to go from the #1 broken thing to balanced in the world of league in 2018 feels like fucking trash.

That's all. It's hard to blame Crit AD mains for feeling the way they do, because when you peel the onion here, their feelings actually are at least partially justified.

The sad part of all of this is that Riot's solution is to just start rolling back by buffing all the crit ADCs instead of addressing the points above.

Coming from a bot lane main, literally the only current issue with ADCs is the fact that they can't get to late game. Towers are made of wet paper, assassins are prevalent in the solo queue meta, and tanks that can peel in team fights are weak because of the state of bruisers. If they made towers stronger, needed Electrocute and Duskblade, and nerf the true damage on Conqueror, ADCs will be fine. You can't say "we needed you early but made you godly late game", then proceed to make late game nearly impossible to reach. That's just bad design.

While the points you made are valid, those aren't the reasons crit ADCs suck.

They suck because marksmen were made extremely weak early game, and then objectives were nerfed too to make late game near impossible to reach without snowballing.

On top of that, the crit build had its cost efficiency tanked to the point that it takes far too long to scale.

So you end up with champs that are weak and unimpactful at all stages of the game. A champ's ability to scale shouldn't be dependent on their team to both protect them and survive without them on top of depending on the enemy team to make mistakes or allow the game to stall.

And while it's debatable whether crit was the most broken thing in the game before, it's not balanced now, it's trash. Both burst reduction AND price increase along with the reduction in efficiency went too far in a game that allows less and less opportunities to reach late game.

In short, to fix crit ADCs they need to address the problems with the crit champs and items, not further nerf them and other things that take advantage of their weakened state.
