I have yet to play a simple Hexakill game without Katarina on my team picking her for free win, and we DID end up winning every single time, the Kat single handedly won the game, even if the rest of our team was shit(like i was in my last game).

Actually, Galio doesn't need to channel his ultimate at all (and his ultimate applies CC). If you interrupt it the very moment you started it you still get full damage of 220/330/440 +60% AP, which is nice (the AoE will be reduced slightly though, instead of 600 it's 575 if it's cancelled). However, it can be significantly bigger if you let yourself get hit 8 times (it's not hard, especially not on Hexakill map, as every time you get damage counts like 1 attack (so, every tick from DoTs, minion attacks etc)). At that point it's dealing 308/462/616 + 84% AP, so it's not hard to deal way over 1k damage with this ultimate.
Still, it's a fact that Kata is extremely strong pick in Hexakill.

Amumu probably deals the least damage of the named examples, but the point that went oh so far over your head was that there are several AoE ultimates that can be set up by someone using CC. Would you like me to sit here and name every motherfucking AoE spell in the game, or can you take the hint?

LOL, most Katarinas only play hexakill because it's insanely easy to get a hexakill with that champion. Also, CC don't work to work to well against Katarina because of the amount of damage from her R.

Yes when hexakill just opened up Kats were super strong because the map is so consolidated and lanes had plenty of ambush points.
I agree many people began playing Kat for that main reason and those who opposed them came to this forum to QQ.
Since then however some of those people have listened to the advice here and began taking cc and shutting her down hardcore.
Now there are several other champs who have been strong in this mode also and have been individually listed among these QQ HAXAKAT threads.
Now... I see alot of Kats doing nothing but providing a long line of free meals to those who are taking the advice and other champs reaping havoc across the map. (sometimes this even includes my Kat)
Do I QQ about each and every one of them?
No.
Why?
Because its a game and I enjoy a challenge even when I get my butt whooped I learn something. (If I am willing to that is)
I see this as the major difference between those on the forums complaining and those who are offering advice.
Th complainers don't want to learn. Simply put they refuse to. They just want to be handed free kills.
Those who offer advice enjoy the challenge presented and the reward of conquering it.
CC works extremely well when used right on Kat. I know as I have the deaths/losses to prove it.
And Kata hasn't ruined anything about Hexakill only those players who refuse to adjust do.
KidSpectre2 votesI actually looked this up to make sure I wasn't putting my foot im my mouth. No matter how you look at it, Katarina should be worse in hexakill, due to the fact that her ult only targets 3 people. That means wholly half your team isn't getting bursted. If you don't have cc or at least exhaust, that's on you. She isn't doing anything she doesn't normally do on SR (or you know TT normally).
