Back to the drawing board on this. The idea in theory but not how Riot has implemented it.

This system MAY work for Masters+ but not for under

You are putting Gold players with Bronze player (who many of them SHOULD be in Iron it seems)

The difference in game knowledge is massive.

I had a ADC go 3/22 and he was not trolling/Inting he was just NOT good and should NOT have been in that match at all.

Experience may vary, but there are masters players queueing for their duo's role and they have their duo do the same, and they're matched against Platinum players. People are abusing the system far more heavily than the previous system.

I like the Iron rank, it gives more representation of skill levels, but the positional rankings need to go. People troll while on off-role because there is literally 0 risk.

You can't compare LCS League of Legends with Real League of Legends. It's like comparing two champions kits.They're may look or work similar, but in the end, they are different from each other.

None of those are from the new system, those are due to the reset at the start of the season. Position based mmr improves autofill games a bit. However, it isn’t going to cure all of the problems that arise after a reset. At the very least the game is much better than start of last season. Even with all of the problems in implementation, this season has been better than start of last.

The beginning of this season is pretty bad, admittedly for pro play and high elo. You are incentivized to troll when on off-role, and we got 2 months of preseason with no patch and we get slammed with a patch right at the start with MAJOR game changes. Not a great look from Riot
