Geez I hope this patch fixes top lane

too many tanks and not enough and even fuckin . Are all these champions fun to play against? nope. but atleast it feels like they have weaknesses and counters that you can exploit to win against them and not just some brick wall that impossible to kill unless you cheese them early or they are just greedy and die for it.

Honestly anything is better than who were abusing and . They get these 3 items and they can kill anything and they can do it fast while at the same time being unkillable walls. So i hope this patch fixes alot of these problems. Along with the grasp nerf.

Well, when you get down to it, no champion is truly fun to play for one simple reason. All of them want to fucking kill you, and I don't think that fighting for your life because some random hothead just ran at you and said "lel I want ur gold" is anything fun to be honest.

On a serious note though, all of the changes already made were steps in the right direction and it does feel that Top Lane might soon get into better shape. Also, Sunfire is getting it's cost upped by 200 on pbe so I guess it's something. For now all that is left is to Ekko the Fizz and see what to do from there

yea like i said i would rather play against riven 3 games in a row, then play against fizz even once. Anyway i think ekko got hit pretty hard with the iceborn nerf, direct nerfs, and grasp nerfs. I honestly dont think he will be as much of a problem as he was before but i could be wrong

Well, Rumble no longer instantly loses laning phase, Vladimir is getting a rework soon and seems really strong, Irelia is quite a decent pick. Hopefully people play those more.

I LOVE rumble, but even with these buffs i dont know if he will be out of the gutter. He is definitely in a better spot then he was in before though

I was a rumble main for 2 years until this preseason. If he is not god awful anymore i will enjoy playing him again. Im just a little skeptical on how great rumble with be after the 6.9 patch because riot left him in the gutter for, what? 6 months?

Well, let's just say that Protobelt is amazing on him, this item gives him a really great mid game powerspike with the stats it provides and the active is just what he needed for this stupid sunfire + iceborn meta, since the dash allows you to kite people more efficiently, dodge spells, or engage/reangage with some nice burst damage.

And while slapping cdr on his core items does seem a little weird, having your ult much more often feels really freaking good, since you actually have a late game now. And on top of it all, the new dragons seem like a pretty valuable objective that everyone's gonna fight for, you know that that means!

This is true, but I think you're missing the point that being killed over 40 seconds by a tank Fizz is a lot worse than being 1 shotted by a skillfull Fizz that actually has to calculate his situation to kill you and not just by being unkillable. Or how being killed because you made a mistake feels better than being flashed on by a 47/0 Master Yi and killed with 1 auto.

if only it would take 40 seconds for a fizz to kill you. im assuming you have not seen a fizz with sunfire and gauntlet. He can kill you fast (not as fast as full ap fizz) while taking shit loads and CC for his team. Tank fizz is much stronger than ap fizz

Well at least Yi had to get to this point somehow (and people don't build him as tanky as they used to), and is still at risk of getting engaged on and murdered with cc.

Fizz does gets away with way too much as a tank though, I agree on that one. And for whatever reason his damage is comparable if not higher than his AP counterpart

I actually like playing against riven because its usually a skill match up between me and the riven player. Brings out my competitive nature you know (:
