League needs an AP bruiser jungler.

If I want to play a bruiser jungler, I have all sorts of AD options. Xin, Jarvan, Olaf, Aatrox, Jax, Kayn (Rhaast), just to name a few.

But if I want to play a bruiser AP jungler.... who do I play?

It seems like if I want to play a magic damage jungler, I'm limited to assassins or tanks, with little or nothing in between. I mean, I can build a tanky champ for damage, and that's sorta kinda similar... but not really.

There are some AD bruiser champions that have magic damage in their kit... but they still build physical damage items. (shyvana, warwick, udyr)

Where are the AP bruiser jungling champions? Why so biased?

Actually.... where are the AP bruiser champions.... PERIOD? What do we have? Vlad, Lissandra, Swain.... and......????

As it stands right now, if champion select goes on, and it gets to my turn and my team needs an AP champion that can deal damage, and has a mild amount of durability... I have no options. There's nothing.

A differing opinion is fine. An agreeing opinion is fine. That is not what people care about.

People care about how you just rudely attacked one of this boards oldest, most experienced, most knowledgeable veterans when he offered some advice to help you with your problem...

For literally no reason too.

No one cares about your opinion because it wasn't relevant. Whether or not you disagree or agree isn't relevant.

It was rude when I was just trying to help guide him to some AP junglers that are typically played in a bruiser style.

Thanks for the answer. Also agree Diana is actually a really nice bruiser ap jungler. She is not popular but strong af.

AP Bruiser is kind of a forgotten thing. Nidalee can be built like a tough bruiser, but she has literally been reworked so many times to cut up her kit and make it less dynamic. Taric is also a strong AP Bruiser. Volibear can be built as a strong AP Bruiser as well.

Most changes have been to reduce dynamic play, so you'll find it tough to play AP bruisers.

With the current state of the game, I can't play any bruisers really. ADC are dominating all trades so the only option is to get a tank into the jungle that has CC to lock down the ADC.

or a champion like JarvanIV or Khazix that can just delete the adc off the map without even trying.

Getting deleted by J4 is because someone doesn't understand that a pure damage build leaves you extremely vulnerable to high damage targeted abilities if you can't blink away. J4 can close the gap, and deal damage. A good ADC builds around this with the proper sustain to last the initial impact from J4, and then outduel him. Caitlyn is probably the best here, as I'd net away, lay a trap inside the terrain in my direction, let J4 drop his terrain, walk onto the trap and take bonus damage from the trade. That's enough of a low-skilled outplay to beat J4 1v1.

Kha Zix and Rengar are both just spam button champions that deal damage as quickly as possible and then escape like assassins because they have a DPS curve that won't allow them to 1v1 very long.

I mean we can throw hypothetical "what-ifs" back and forth all night, if you want. The fact is I 100-0 adcs on the regular with J4, and I don't even go full damage unless my team has 2 other full tank champs (ornn + cho or something)

Warrior, cleaver, dead mans, spirit visage, boots of choice, GA, usually.

I'm sure if I cared enough, I could type out 3 paragraphs about some hypothetical situation where I outplay a caitlyn that's trying to outplay me. Then you could come back with a story about how caitlyn outplays the jarvan thats trying to outplay her outplay.

But why?

J4 can 100-0 low skilled ADC. The skill floor for ADC is so high right now, but that doesn't mean that there are lots of good ADC. Season 7 was the best season to try ADC for the first time.

If you don't care, don't post. Your back and forth conversations are unnecessarily argumentative.

Jungle rumble is fun as hell. I'll whip it out occasionally. The problem is that he has a pretty low acceptance level, and people just dodge over and over, or flame me for picking him. That creates a poor gaming environment from the get-go, people not being confident in their jungler. I've had games where I'm 5-0 by 10 minutes and people are still saying things like "Why rumble jungle.."

But that's the community for ya.

I've never tried morde jungle. Didn't even know it was a thing.
