Why would you buff Tibbers?

Annie

Molten Shield [E] - Now grants 10/20/30/40/50 resistances (Down from 20/30/40/50/60)
Summon Tibbers [R] - Casting Molten Shield will now grant it on Tibbers as well and give him a short decaying movement speed boost

The archaic design of this champ is already bad enough. You don't need to make Tibbers any better. If anything, you need to nerf the cooldown on R. It's so ridiculously short compared to other mages.

I remember there were one or two top lane champions who had their ult cooldown nerfed because it was right back up by the time you returned to lane. Annie is no different.

It's because they're getting rid of DFG, obviously. Every single burst mage is going to be doing less damage now. Also, Tibbers CD is 120 seconds at 6. That's not really something you can spam. And by the time you get 100s on lvl 11 or 80s on lvl 16 the laning phase is over.

While her CD isn't long on ultimate - it sure as hell isn't "ridiculously short compared to other mages". Let's compare it (though, I won't be using every mage in the game, but a decent amount of them)!

Annie: 120/100/80s Ahri: 110/95/80s Brand: 105/90/75s Cassiopeia: 120/110/100s Karthus: 200/180/160s Lissandra: 130/105/80s Lux: 80/65/50s Malzahar: 120/100/80s Mordekaiser: 120/105/90s Morgana: 120/110/100s Orianna: 120/105/90s Syndra: 100/90/80s Veigar: 130/110/90s Vel'Koz: 130/110/90s Viktor: 120/110/100s Vladimir: 150/135/120s Xerath: 130/115/100s Ziggs: 120s Zyra: 130/120/110s

So, as seen above Annie ultimate cooldown is neither long nor short - it's pretty much slightly below average cooldown for mages.

The thing that makes it seem a lot longer then it is is the fact that it goes on cd as soon as it it used and tibbers still remains active.
