So, the jungler has to get close to enemy champions to make plays, right? If Kalista give the dark spear to her jungler, wouldn't it make it easier for him/her to successfully gank? This also lets Kalista bring the jungler to her whenever she needs to. 3 people at bot whenever you want? Constant pressure after 6? Yes please! Why has no one tried this?
Zmuecat1 votesI think it depends on who your support is, or if you are on a team/duoing with the jungle.
Kal can save a squishy support if they do something stupid, and you get added harass in lane, but if the jungle is a better choice for mid to late game, it'd be a better choice.
So really, I think it's just up to who you are playing with, I assume solo queue people may find it odd, and some might throw tantrums.
RookPusher1 votesYeah, the jungler is certainly a viable option. The issue isn't that people haven't thought of it, the issue is that people are on auto-pilot with Kalista. If you're in solo queue, the ADC is the most suspicious of all the roles. They tend to be the "everyone support me and we'll win" person. They never ward, they demand ganks at ridiculous times - immediately.
And when it comes to her ult, I've seen Kalista's use the bond on me as Zyra/Zilean. Why not just give them a bunch of free kills from the jump?

She loses out a lot on her w in lane phase.
But yes it can work, but not as optimal
TeemoJenkins1 votesWith my 5's team - Malphite Support and Kalista ADC is nasty... but then I tank Naut or Shyv which is equally nasty. We haven't tried binding the jungle yet, but now I want to.
